Today (May 8) is your
Pechakucha 20X20 practice day !!

Today is University Field day BUT we still have class!!

Come to class prepared to make your 20X20 presentation and listen to feedback from your group. You will also be critiquing the other group members presentations.

- You should have a full script prepared and be familiar with it.
- You should bring printed copies of your images, or a laptop for listeners to view your images.
- You will stand when you make your presentation.
- Your hands will be empty and available for gesturing.
- You will practice using effective intonation and rhythm.
- You will ask questions and make comments when listening to other presentations. For example;

  • Could you speak louder please?
  • What do you mean when you say, "_____"?
  • What is your message?
  • Do you think people want to know about this topic?
  • What do you want listeners to take away from this presentation?
  • Have you thought of ______ to make your presentation more interesting?
  • Is there another way to say, "____"?
